Best shots: the whole tank (helps me judge capacity), any visible damage, and the outlet so I can size the pipework.
Very common on Tankmasta tanks (though not limited to them). We have a tried and tested repair method for split outlets — our favourite repair for its success rate, learnt providing warranty repairs for Tankmasta in their final year of operation.
We're one of the few plastic welders equipped to weld from inside the tank — with the gear to drain the tank and the appropriate breathing equipment to do it safely.
Tractor and machinery fuel tank repairs — sometimes in the field, or removed if the damage needs it. Most tractor fuel tanks come off easily.
When a weld is the right call, it's a quick, economical fix. But poly that's gone brittle from years of UV often cracks again near the repair — money down the drain. So every poly repair is assessed case by case: if a weld will genuinely last, we'll do it; if it's a band-aid, we'll say so and talk through what actually solves it — a tank liner for larger tanks, or replacement for smaller ones.
Send a few photos of the damage with your call and you'll get a straight answer about whether it's worth repairing.
